Liberty Apps are proud to have sponsored an international footballer for the 2021/2 season.
Back in August we went to attend a game on the Sunday. The game was about to start and the nearest ATM was 15 minutes away. The stewards decided to let us in and we were entertained by a 4-0 victory for Fylde v West Bromwich Albion Women.o
Liberty Apps decided to repay the generosity of the stewards, especially as Fylde Women have had terrible fortune in recent years.
- Being dropped by Preston North End
- Suicide of a player
- The pandemic almost closing them down
- Their ground suffering vandals
Following the visit to the stadium Steve started following their Twitter & Instagram accounts. He noticed the women were looking for sponsors of players in the team. We at Liberty Apps decided to sponsor one.
Deciding on a player from the 20+ strong squad was a difficult process. While doing research we discovered Emily Hollinshead was an internationally capped player for Wales. What clinched the decision was a story about her challenging for equal rights when she was younger.

“We decided to show support to women’s football after the devastating impact of the pandemic and also ahead of the upcoming Women’s European Championship”.
