We have continued our support for women’s football by announcing not one, but two new sponsorships with Chorley Women FC.
Chorley Women FC rely on player subs, sponsors and fundraising events to be able to cover their costs. They are not affiliated to a men’s team.
One of their players Katie Holt unfortunately had to suffer the heartache of losing their club when Bolton Ladies was disbanded in the summer. Fortunately Chorley Women who were in the same league managed to pick Katie up. However as no one had sponsored Katie we decided to cover her fees.
As a Bolton Wanderers supporter I was devastated by the dissolution of the local women’s team over the summer. However, it is wonderful to see Katie has managed to find her way into the Chorley team.
Steve Hilton
Our second player is Jess Gillin who started at Everton and managed to get on bench of their first team. Jess has been scoring goals for fun like this thunderbolt.

The picture with Steve was taken at the same time Newcastle United Women broke records with 22,134 fans watching their team. Fingers crossed Chorley Women get to play in front of a similar crowd next season.
